Riders of all levels of experience are welcome to join us, we can provider a 'Race Day' buddy to help you through the pre race preparation to help you to get started, as well as helping to guide you though the Race Day requirements to get out on the track and home again safely at the end of the day. We hold regular race meetings at:

One of the best ways to get started is to come along to a race meeting and see how it all works. The club is always looking for new volunteers to help us run race meetings.

If you would like to come along and see what it is all about before deciding if you’d prefer to be on the track or watching from the sidelines as a volunteer , check out the Race Events pages and or Volunteers and Officials Page,  and contact our membership secretary.

(Note: you don't have to be a member to volunteer at a race meeting, but you are welcome to join anyway…) Forum Meetings Held on the second Wednesday of each month online via Zoom and selected meetings in person also. Farewell to one of Life’s True Gentleman: SYD JacksonWe're saddened to announce the passing of Syd Jackson, a cherished member and life member of St George Motorcycle Club (STGMCC), who celebrated 50 incredible years with our community. 4 days before his 98th birthday, Syd's legacy will live on through the countless memories and stories shared among his family, friends and our members.Funeral Details:Syd's Funeral will be this Thursday 7th August at 1.30pmSalvation Army Church. Your passion for motorcycles and dedication to our community will never be forgottenSyd, a life in Motorcycling:- 13/04/1974 Joined STGMCC (From Mascot MCC that closed in that year).- Syd was a motorcyclist at heart participating in Road Racing & Trials competition. He raced at Bathurst in the early days. On 23/02/2020 Syd returned to Bathurst to celebrate 70 years since he won the 350cc race.- At STGMCC Syd held many positions over his 50+ years: Club Patron (Mentor), President, ACU Delegate, Event Co-ordinator (this was before all the fancy titles & licencing was introduced), & in more recent years he was at STGMCC road race events doing whatever was needed, including ensuring all Track Officials we well supported with meals etc. - 28/07/1982 Life Member StGMCC - 1970 to 1993 Syd, with Arthur Blizzard spent countless hours organising with regular trips to Bathurst to meet with Council to organise the Bathurst Motorcycle Road Racing events on behalf of the ACU & MNSW.- Life Member ACU of NSW (now Motorcycling NSW)- When the ACU fell on hard times & had to close, he was instrumental in setting up Motorcycling NSW so that motorcycle racing & sport would continue in NSW.- 29/09/2000 Awarded – Member of the Order of Australia (AM) – Australian Sports Medal. For Services to Motorcycling – Long Serving Official (nominated by MNSW)Syd was always supporting every event STGMCC, ACU or MNSW promoted & a mentor to Club Members.
